3D Design + Animation

A collaboration with my Dad, during a family trip to Margate. Johnson Banks produced the front on version of the logo - this was then mapped onto a 3D model of the radio telescope dish. A large number of iterations were produced varying the font, mapping technique, and angle of view to capture a sense of scale whilst maintaining legibility. A simple animation was also produced showing the radio telescope in action.
